Install skeditor on your phone

skeditor is a Progressive Web App — that means you can install it like a native app from your browser, no App Store needed. Takes about 30 seconds.

You need to be signed in first. Visit your account’s URL (e.g. yourname.skeditor.com) and sign in before following the steps below. Once installed, the app icon takes you straight there.

📱 iPhone & iPad (Safari)

  1. Open Safari and go to your skeditor account URL (it looks like yourname.skeditor.com). Other browsers don’t support installing apps on iOS — Safari only.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the square with an upward arrow).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. You can rename it if you like, then tap Add in the top right.
  5. Done! The skeditor icon is now on your home screen. Tap it to launch the app full-screen, no browser bar.
iOS tip: the first time you tap the icon, sign in and check “Stay signed in.” You won’t need to re-authenticate every time you open the app.

🤖 Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Chrome and go to your skeditor account URL.
  2. You may see an “Install app” banner at the bottom of the page — if so, tap it and skip to step 5.
  3. Otherwise, tap the three-dot menu in the top right of Chrome.
  4. Tap Install app (sometimes labeled “Add to Home Screen”).
  5. Confirm by tapping Install.
  6. The app icon appears on your home screen. Tap it to launch.
Android tip: some Android browsers (Firefox, Samsung Internet) handle install slightly differently — they typically have an “Install” option in their menu too. Chrome is the most consistent.

💻 Desktop (Chrome, Edge)

  1. Visit your skeditor URL in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Look at the right side of the address bar — you should see a small install icon (a monitor with a downward arrow).
  3. Click it, then click Install.
  4. skeditor opens in its own window, separate from your normal browser. You can pin it to your taskbar / dock for one-click access.
If you don’t see the install icon: some sites need a quick refresh. Try Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to force a clean reload.

What you get

The installed app behaves like a native app: it runs in its own window with no browser chrome, has its own icon on your home screen / dock, and remembers your sign-in. It uses the same browser engine under the hood, so updates we ship are live immediately — no App Store review delays.

You can uninstall any time the same way you'd remove any other app: long-press the icon on mobile and tap Remove, or right-click on desktop and choose Uninstall.
