Terms of Service
Last updated: May 4, 2026
These terms govern your use of skeditor (the “service”) at skeditor.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us through the support page and change your password.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and you must be authorized to use the service on behalf of any business whose name you enter.
2. Free trial and subscription
New accounts include a 14-day free trial of the full product. No payment information is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, you may subscribe to a paid plan to continue editing your data. If you don’t subscribe, your account becomes read-only; if you don’t subscribe within 30 days of the trial ending, your account is frozen until you re-subscribe.
Subscription pricing is shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Your subscription renews monthly unless you cancel. Charges are processed by Stripe; refunds are at our discretion and generally only granted for technical failures of the service.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription any time from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for; we don’t pro-rate refunds for unused days. After cancellation, your data remains accessible to you for 90 days in case you decide to re-subscribe.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use skeditor to:
- Send unsolicited messages (the appointment reminder system is for actual appointments you have booked).
- Store data unrelated to scheduling your customers, including but not limited to media files, financial records, or personal archives.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the service.
- Violate any law that applies to your business or your customers’ data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your data is yours
You retain ownership of all customer information, appointments, notes, and other content you enter into skeditor. We do not claim any rights over your content beyond what’s necessary to operate the service for you (storing it, displaying it back to you, sending the emails you’ve configured).
You may export your data at any time by emailing us through the support page.
6. Service changes and availability
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. If we make a material reduction in functionality, we’ll email account owners at least 14 days in advance.
We aim for high availability but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Customer notifications
When you create an appointment in skeditor, the service may send a confirmation email to the customer email address you provide, and a 24-hour reminder before the appointment. You are responsible for ensuring you have a legitimate basis (typically a business relationship) to email those customers.
8. Payments to your customers
The Venmo and Zelle pay-link feature generates URLs and text that you can share with your customers. We do not process those payments — they flow directly between your customer and your Venmo or Zelle account. We are not liable for failed, disputed, or fraudulent transactions on those platforms.
9. Termination
We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or fail to pay invoices after reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and (optionally) requesting data deletion.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll email account owners at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date counts as acceptance of the new terms.
